essay
.txt I have recently entered MIET - a higher education institution in the Moscow region, more precisely - in Zelenograd. Strangely enough, my first acquaintance with the university was through an electronic learning system called ORIOKS. ORIOKS is extraordinary, and it can be talked about for a long time, which we will do in this essay. So what is it - ORIOKS?
To begin with, I will try to tell you about its good sides. ORIOKS is much more convenient than the school electronic diary. In school, the electronic diary was more of a burden than a useful innovation, as it did not post homework for subjects, and grades were not always posted on time. It had an outdated design, and the school electronic diary server constantly refused to work. On the contrary, in the ORIOKS system, all of these shortcomings have been addressed.
Moreover, it is also worth noting the large number of resources provided by ORIOKS in its electronic library. A huge amount of material on various subjects with the opportunity to study them, as all of them are selected with our direction in mind and will definitely be useful in learning.
Now on the other hand, let's discuss the drawbacks of this electronic learning system. The design is much better than in the electronic diary at my school, but it is still outdated. Additionally, another drawback is the possibility of "placeholders" being set by lecturers and seminar leaders. And to make it clearer, a placeholder is a deliberately set failure in an exam or any other important (and not very important) work. They are set by lecturers for various reasons... Mostly just because they don't have time to check the work on time.
Furthermore, another definite drawback of ORIOKS is its instability in operation. It doesn't work as poorly as the school electronic diary, but it's still not as ideal as you would like. However, people are working on ORIOKS and trying to make it better.
To summarize, I would like to say that the topic is subjective in nature, and everyone decides for themselves whether they like ORIOKS or not. Personally, in my opinion, I like ORIOKS. I wish there were more systems like it
