I analysed a publicly available article on one of the Internet news sites, rbc.ru, entitled "The situation is not under control". What's going on near Donetsk". The authors of the article are: Vera Kholmogorova and Vladimir Dergachev. The article is accompanied by a short abstract revealing the main idea of the article. Speaking about the structure of the article, there are four main blocks. Let's move on to examine the first block of the article, it is called "no tank attacks". The authors of the article report that after a brief calm in the region in question, volleys of artillery can be heard again. The Donetsk People's Republic Agency reports that the situation on the front line is once again very tense, and it has also been reported that various equipment ranging from small arms to grenade launchers is being used. The authors report that many buildings have been destroyed and many shots are still being heard. The second block of the article titled "The situation is not under anyone's control" informs readers that the situation is uncontrollable. The authors report that gas and electricity supply routes in Ukraine have mostly been destroyed and that it has taken a lot of effort to rebuild the destroyed routes. "Blockade and offensive" is the title of the third block of the article. It discusses the town of Avdeevka, where all the most important administrative buildings of the DNR are located, which could be the hardest hit as it is clearly on the front line. The movement of Ukrainian-controlled tanks and armoured vehicles has already been recorded in this town. The activists are trying to block the railway lines used to supply equipment to the Ukrainian forces, but the DNR police say the activists are only destabilising the situation. The last block of the article is titled "UN again". The main idea of this block is the UN ordering an immediate ceasefire from Russia, to which Russian President Vladimir Putin states that this conflict was instigated by Ukraine. Vladimir Putin refers to the Minsk agreements, appealing to the mind of the President of Ukraine - this is the conclusion of the article.

I analysed an article entitled "Russia's brutal attack on Ukraine is wrong and must stop". The article is publicly available on one of the Internet resources nature.com. The author wished to remain anonymous. At the beginning of his article, the author reveals the main idea that will be traced throughout the reading. The main idea is that Russia has invaded the territory of a neighbouring country, namely Ukraine, without warning and hundreds of people are dying in Ukraine because of this invasion. Further on in the article the author, on behalf of the whole nature magazine, declares disapproval of Russia's actions. The author speculates that the majority of Ukrainian citizens, including children, the elderly and women, are fleeing their homes en masse and that many have taken up arms. As most academic departments, institutes have been suspended, the author included a hashtag in his article that would allow students from Ukraine to enrol in most EU HEIs. The author calls on most citizens from various European countries to boycott scientific activities in the Russian Federation so that the country will suffer even greater losses, and to impose even more sanctions on the Russian educational sector. At the end of his article, the author urges readers to resist Russian aggression.

The text I analysed is called A Man of the world and its author is the famous writer, Ernest Hemingway.
The main part of the text is about a blind man who seems to be strange to everyone. He takes a long time to catch a ride. He goes to bars, because he feels safer there, waiting for people at the gambling machines. He has a couple of acquaintances in the bar, but only one of them knows how he lost his sight.
The author pays a lot of attention to how this poor man went blind, thereby revealing why his name is exactly that. He lost his eye during a fight.
The author has also uncovered the problem of how people with disabilities are treated when they cannot take care of themselves. Blindie smelt strange, which made it rare for anyone to try to give him a lift home and, as the author says, it was up to the children and women in the car to take care of him.
At the end of the story one man, learning more about Blindie, agrees to let him stay overnight.
In my opinion such people shouldn't be left alone, even though they develop their other senses better, at the cost of losing one. I feel very sorry for the blind young man, as it was partly through no fault of his own that he lost his eye.

The article I am about to analyse is called Silent wttnesses. The author of the article is unknown.
The subject of the article is the loss of many languages of different tribes that have been colonised by different countries, e.g. Spain, America, England.
At the beginning of the article the author discusses the sound system of different nards and the number of sounds in the language system. The author then talks about various peoples whose language was in fact lost due to the fact that these peoples were colonised, that literally for the very language people were killed and people had to adjust.
The main problem of the article is the loss of most of the world's languages and culture along with it. That at the time the powerful powers considered the languages of colonised tribes and peoples as something strange and mocked the speaking culture of these peoples.
The author concludes the article by stating that at the moment the formerly colonised peoples are trying to recover what was lost centuries ago. People want to speak their language and restore their culture.
From my point of view, the problem raised in the article is really great. A multitude of peoples should not have been deprived of their basic unit as a people - language, words, sounds. In my opinion it is simply monstrous when a culture is destroyed, when you are forbidden to use your own language as a means of communication and you can be killed because of it.
