Questions for examination and intersessional control of knowledge in pathological anatomy for 3rd year students of the medical and preventive faculty.

  1. History of the Department of Pathological Anatomy of the Rostov State Medical University.

In Rostov-on-Don, the medical medical society was recreated in 1915 by merging the Rostov-Nakhichevan and Warsaw Medical Societies I. F. Pozharisky, head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy of the Medical Faculty of the Don Imperial University, organized on the basis of the Warsaw University evacuated during World War I. F. Pozharisky. He had broad scientific interests. He was an advanced encyclopediically educated scientist who created his own scientific and pedagogical school. He first described the bubonic form of plague, paying special attention to the lesion of lymph nodes; for the first time studied the effects of suffocating toxic substances on the human body; for the first time claimed a close relationship between hypertrophy and regeneration; his work on heterotopic bone formation and nerve regeneration, pathological anatomy of typhus, influenza is widely known.

After the untimely death of I. F. Pozharisky from typhus in 1919, Professor S. I. Krinitsky became the head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy. He continues to work in the medical society, maintaining close contact with clinicians – professors N. I. Napalkov and I. V. Zavadsky. Shalva Iosifovich was the organizer of the pathology service in Rostov-on-Don, Rostov region and the North Caucasus, on his initiative 8 autopsies were created in large hospitals of the city and 7 in the region.

And in 1961, Ivan Ivanovich Dorokhov, who was the chairman of the Leningrad Military Medical Academy, became the head. The student scientific circle of pathologists continues to work all this time and all the staff of the department, professors and doctors of sciences, former members of the circle.

In 1990, Irina Sergeevna Derizhanova, a student of I.I. Dorokhova, became the head of the department. The unusual fate of Irina Sergeevna connects more than one generation of circle members. Her father Sergei Martynovich Derizhanov was a student of S.I. Krinitsky and worked shoulder to shoulder with other young doctors such as Z.D.Khanina, E.A. Kishkina, N.I.Zavadskaya, etc. After the war, Sergei Martynovich died (leaving behind a generation of students and a lot of scientific papers), and little Irina was raised by Elena Alexandrovna Kishkina. It can be said that she was raised by the department. Irina Sergeevna has always been an active member of the circle, later his supervisor, chairman of the student scientific society for 26 years.
