ПедагогиУральскогогосударственногоаграрногоуниверситетанаибо- лее активно используют аутентичные тексты в процессе преподавания профессиональногоблока.Тексты,предназначенныедляносителейязы- каипосвященныекакой либопрофессиональнойтеме,сопровождаются разработаннымипонимзаданиями.Такойподходпозволяетсохранить аутентичность(оригинальность)текстаипривычныйдляобучающихся способучебнойдеятельности.

Приведем пример задания по темам, изучаемым студентами бака- лавриата направлений 35.03.05 «Садоводство» (профиль «Садоводство и ландшафтный дизайн») и 35.03.10 «Ландшафтная архитектура» (про- филь«Садово-­парковоеиландшафтноестроительство»).

But, in its own way, the landscape garden movement, too had a rigidity about it. The biggest blow in the English revolt against formal design came withtheevolutionofEnglishcottagegardens.Thisrevoltgothelplaterfrom the Romantic movement in literature and art.This was a movement against Classicismanditsappreciationfororder,discipline,andmoderation.

In garden design, the influence of Romanticism translated into an em­ phasis on using plants to inspire us emotionally rather than intellectually. With its mystical charm and romantic aura, this style reflects its historical roots.

Romanticism not only focused on the emotional but also placed the pea­ santry,despised in the past,up on a pedestal.And it was originally the pea­ santry that had planted and maintained cottage gardens. They had done so before it became trendy with more affluent groups. The true cottage garden ofthepeasantrywaspractical,aswellasaestheticallypleasing.Thus,culinary and medicinal herbs were common components. Fruit trees, too were often amongthetypicalplantsusedincottagegardens.

But after English cottage gardens caught on outside of peasant circles (andoutsideofEngland,too),theiraestheticpropertiesreceivedmostofthe attention.One of the most famous cottage gardens was designed by Claude Monet (1840–1926), the French Impressionist painter. No discipline exerted a stronger influence on garden design than did landscape painting. It was acaseof“lifeimitatingart”.

Monetisaparticularlyinterestingcase,beingnotonlyanartistwhopain­ tedlandscapesbutalsosomeonewhowasactiveingardendesign.WithMo­ net,theinfluencewentbothways.

English cottage gardens, with their wild abundance of rose bushes, pe- rennial flowers,vine-covered garden arbors,and plants tumbling over stone walkways,arepopularintheU.S.

This is an informal style meant to evoke a mood of lighthearted gaiety. The eye feasts on a jumble of flowers, distributed in a seemingly haphazard manner,evokingthoughtsofa“naturallandscape”.Theplantsthemselvesare justasimportantastheiruseintheoverallcomposition,andthewildnessof thearrangementsuggestsaclosercommuningwithnature.

But,whilecottagegardensarepopularinAmerican,there’snodoubtthe lawnisthedominantelementinAmericanlandscaping.

Japanese maple trees are valued for their small-to-medium size,making them ideal for raised beds,large containers,and patios.Their leaves provide year-roundinterestandcanbefoundinassortedcolors,likeorange,scarlet, yellow,andbrightgreen.

Heucheras (coral bells) are compact perennials with roundish leaves that havescallopededges.Grownfortheircolorfulfoliage,Heucheras arestriking in rock gardens,in front of shrubs,as masses in borders,and in containers. Colorsincludelightandmediumgreen,deepred,orange,andvariegatedva- rieties.

The olive trees, Olea europaea, are Mediterranean natives that grow well inCaliforniaandpartsofsouthernArizona.Theywereintroducedtomission gardenshundredsofyearsagoandprizedfortheoilthatthefruitproduces. Theseslowgrowersaremostattractivewhengrownindeep,richsoil.Ifboth- eredbythesometimes-­messyfruitcrop,olivetreescanbethinnedeachyear, whichalsodisplaystheirstrikingbranchpatterns.

9.RusticGarden

Rustic Corten steel planter edging holds a raised bed that includes this centralmulti-­trunkolivetreealongwithassortedlocalstonesandrocks.Oth- er plants include carex and Sedum spectabile ‘Autumn Joy’. along with native grasses. 10.ShadeTrees

Thebedsofthisformal,tree-linedpatharelivenedupwithlimegreenhos- tas and white-­blooming shrubs.With statues guide the way,the mossy path leads to an old-fashioned. Hively Landscape Design of Dover, Pennsylvania, addedshade-­loverslikehostasandrhododendronsthatalwaysdowellunder thecanopiesoftrees,especiallyiftheyareprunedandmaintained.

11.LondonBackGarden

AsmalloutdoorroofterraceinCentralLondon’snewsectionof SwissCot- tagewasgivenanAsianlookbyJohnDaviesLandscapeDesign.

InspiredbyNewYork’sHighLine,Daviesenvisionedthespacesasgardens in the sky that provide private and luxurious spaces for relaxation.Trees are planted in basalt terraces and include Japanese maple (Acer palmatum) and Osmanthusburkwoodii.TheOsmanthusisprunedandtrainedintoanumbrella formforaneat,manicuredlook.

12.PatioTrees

AmaturetreeinthecornerofthispeacefulyardinShermanOaks,Califor- nia,becamepartofaraisedflagstonepatio.DesignedbySCA-LARC,thespace is also used for a portable barbecue and keeps the space from getting soggy or neglected.Tying it all together are paths of flagstone pavers that edge the gardenbordersanddirecttheflowoftrafficthroughouttheyard.

13.TreeDeck

Building a deck to incorporate two serpentine oak trees gave this house near Oakland, California, more privacy. Instead of removing the oaks, ODS Architecturecreatedaseamlessindoor/outdoorexperienceandaddedmore livingspace.

14.MatureOliveTrees

Mature olive trees in this Los Angeles backyard are surrounded by gravel andathickcarpetoflawnandmorepeagravelforexcellentdrainage.Designed byGardenofEvatheyardisfilledwithdrought-­tolerantplantsandhardscape. Trees are affected by drought and owners often fail to water them, thinking thatestablishedspecimenswillsurvive.Youngtreesshouldbewateredtwice perweek,whileestablishedtreesshouldbewatereddirectlybeneaththefoli- ageandcanopy.Also,applymulchtoretainmuch-neededmoisture.

15.CottageGarden

AwhimsicalcottagegardeninOrange,California,includeslotsofdetails initslandscapedesign.Everyfreespaceofdirtisusedforplantingcarefully chosen perennials, vines, and bulbs, along with garden statuary and orna- ments. Soil is amended and rich for the variety of specimens in each bed”.

Впользухудожественнойлитературывпроцессеобученияиностран- ному языку выступает характерное ей своеобразие. Фабульность про- изведений помогает повысить заинтересованность и в значительной мереувеличиваетэмоциональныйотклик.Традиционныекомпоненты сюжета литературных произведений, такие как экспозиция, завязка, кульминация, развязка, облегчают процесс понимания хода событий, смысла произведения и тренируют языковую догадку у обучающихся.

Необходимоподбиратьтекстывсоответствиисопределеннымикри- териями, обращая внимание на содержательную и языковую стороны.
