INFILTRATIVE PULMONARY
TUBERCULOSIS
this clinical form of tuberculosis occurs against a specific background hypersensitization of pulmonary tissue and significant increase in exudative tissue reaction in the focus of inflammation.
The clinical and morphological peculiarity of of infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis are considered to be widespread lesion lung with the tendency to rapid progression of tuberculosis process
Infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis is characterized by the presence of inflammatory changes in the lungs, predominantly exudative in nature with caseous necrosis and with or without destruction of lung tissue.
TUBERCULOSIS INFILTRATE:
- the complex of a fresh or old nidus with an extensive area of perifocal inflammation, It is more often localized in the 1st, 2nd and 6th segments of the lung.
INFILTRATES CLASSIFICATION ACCORDING TO LOCALIZATION AND VOLUME OF LUNG TISSUE LESION
1.Bronchiolobular - captures usually 2 – pulmonary lobules.
2.Segmental - within one segment. An infiltrate is formed, which is usually called circular.
3.Polysegmental or lobular - within a lobe lung.
4.Cloud-like infiltrate - pronounced tendency to progression of tuberculosis with rapid involvement many segments of the lung. Involvement in the pathological process of almost the entire lobe lung and formation of multiple cavities decay cavities in the affected lobe are indicative of formation of lobitis.
1.In the progressive course infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis transforms into caseous pneumonia.
2.Perisessuritis is an infiltrate that develops along the course of the main or appendicular interlobular cleft.
