It's hard to imagine your day without a computer, phone, internet, social media, streaming services, etc. these days. Every day people of different ages use it, including children. Consider the impact of the Internet on children, highlight the advantages and disadvantages.

Let's start with the fact that the Internet gives freedom in communication, learning, creativity, entertainment. Modern children are mastering gadgets earlier, mainly games, which develops their thinking in a new way. The older a child gets, the more the Internet can give him - language learning, help in learning at school, online courses and lectures, which is just as important in a pandemic. Communication and social networks are also of great importance.

On the other hand, it is not always possible for a child to independently control the incoming information and the time devoted to entertainment. An adult should adjust the control, depending on the age of the child.

Summing up, we can say that the Internet and modern means of communication are an excellent opportunity for self-development of children. But it must be supervised by adults.
