Abstract. The article discusses the features of informative activity of younger schoolboys with a delay of mental development, as well as the effect of the relationship with the environment on the formation and development of cognitive activity of students with mental retardation.

Abstract. The article deals with peculiarities of self-assessment of Junior schoolchildren with Gus. The structure of the self-assessment. Also conducted a diagnostic study to identify characteristics of self-younger students with ONR. The work can be useful to teachers in primary schools, psychologists, specialists working with children with ONR.
