Acute respiratory failure (ARF)
IN VIRAL PNEUMONIA The condition is caused by: reduction of the respiratory surface of the lungs, obstruction of the bronchial tree;
Other reasons:
atelectasis, collapse;
dysfunction of the respiratory muscles; Violation in the surfactant system;
Violation of the function of the respiratory center or blockade of afferent links in the regulation of the respiratory muscles;
Mismatch between ventilation and perfusion;
Laryngospasm.

Acute respiratory failure (ARF)
The first clinical signs of acute respiratory failure (ARF) will be:
•increasing dyspnea,
•cyanosis,
•sweating,
•tachycardia.
•Later, there is a violation of the rhythm of breathing, excitation.
•The appearance of blood in the sputum is extremely unfavorable, which may be the beginning of hemorrhagic pulmonary edema.

DANGER SIGNALS
