Kernig's symptom

- inability to passively straighten the leg, previously bent at a right angle in the hip and knee joints (this symptom

be distinguished from Lasegue's symptom)

Brudzinsky's symptoms

upper - flexion of the legs at the knee and hip joints with passive flexion of the head of the patient lying on his back;

Brudzinsky's pubic symptom - bending the legs at the knee and hip joints with pulling them to the stomach with pressure on the pubic joint;

lower Brudzinsky symptom - an attempt to straighten the leg, bent at a right angle at the knee and hip joints, leads to flexion of the second leg and bringing it to the stomach;

Brudzinsky's symptoms

buccal symptom of Brudzinsky - when pressing on the cheek below the zygomatic arch, involuntary lifting of the shoulder girdle and bending of the arms in the elbow joints occurs

Meningeal syndrome in children

suspension symptom (Le Sage symptom):

when lifting a child under the armpits, his legs are bent at the hip and knee joints, pulled up to the stomach, remaining in this position for a long time (found mainly in infants);
