ПРЕДИСЛОВИЕ

Учебно-методическое пособие «Twist your tongue» ориентировано на бакалавров 1-2 курсов, обучающихся по направлениям 45.03.02 «Лингвистика: Перевод и переводоведение» и 44.03.05 «Педагогическое образование (с двумя профилями): Английский язык. Немецкий язык». Данное пособие предназначено для использования на практических занятиях по дисциплине «Практическая фонетика английского языка», при проведении практических занятий на 1 курсе по вводно-коррективному фонетическому блоку по дисциплине «Устная практика», а также для самостоятельной работы студентов над произношением.

Цель данного пособия – корректировка и автоматизация произносительных навыков студентов, отработка основных фонетических трудностей английского языка, работа над интонацией и ритмом английской речи.

Представленный в пособии комплекс упражнений и коммуникативных заданий позволяет решить следующие задачи:

-формирование фонетических навыков;

-отработка знаний по фонетике английского языка;

-тренировка и расширение объёма оперативной и безассоциативной па-

мяти;

- выработка фонематического слуха.

В ходе изучения дисциплины «Практическая фонетика английского языка» отрабатываются следующие компетенции:

общекультурные компетенции:

-овладение навыками социальной и межкультурной коммуникации на английском языке;

-овладение культурой мышления, устной и письменной речи на английском языке;

профессиональные компетенции:

-овладение фонетическими навыками, необходимыми для общения на английском языке;

-овладение умениями работать с электронными ресурсами печатными изданиями для поиска, обработки и анализа информации с целью решения лингвистических и коммуникативных задач.

Структурно учебно-методическое пособие состоит из 5 разделов: Tonguetwisters, Poems and Rhymes, Supplementary material, Tests and Reading comprehension. Краткий теоретический материал и проверочные тесты по изученным в курсе «Практической фонетики» темам в конце пособия помогут учащимся проверить полученные знания.

Большое количество разнообразного практического материала (скороговорки, стихи, физминутки, считалки) поможет обучающимся не только развить фонетические навыки, но и даст возможность бакалаврам направления 44.03.05 «Педагогическое образование (с двумя профилями подготовки)» подготовиться

кпрохождению производственной педагогической практики в учебных органи-

зациях. Тексты в конце пособия предназначены для отработки навыков интонирования и фонетического чтения.

Учебное пособие может также использоваться в качестве дополнения к любому традиционному учебнику для работы на уроках английского языка и элективных курсах на любом уровне обучения (начальном, среднем, старшем) гимназий и средних общеобразовательных учреждений. Данное учебное пособие может показаться интересным и полезным не только преподавателям и студентам вуза, но и всем лицам, изучающим английский язык.
