11) You agreed to meet with your friend, but you come late. You ask: have you been waiting for me long?

Answers to questions

1. I agree more with statement A that human activity harms the earth. Because I believe that development is certainly good, but with this development we need to use more energy and resources of our planet, which are unfortunately limited. Also with the development of various plants and businesses - will increase the number of emissions and leakage of various harmful substances, which has a very detrimental effect on our Earth.

2. I agree more with B's statement that global warming poses a real threat to the environment. Because every year the temperature increases. For example, 10 years ago in our city there were severe winters with heavy blizzards, but now we have more comfortable winters. Global warming is melting glaciers, which could lead to climate change in the future. Therefore, I consider the second statement more true.

3. Of course, environmental pollution is a very terrible and the main problem of humanity, which is to blame for this. But I am still inclined to believe that humanity will still figure out how to reduce the harmful effects on our planet and we will be able to save it. Science does not stand still and sooner or later we will figure out how to produce goods for their lives without harming the Earth. Therefore, I believe that statement B is more correct.
