Information technology today is not just a means of supporting management, but the main element of the railway transport infrastructure. The relevance of the topic is justified by the fact that in our time the possession of information is a prerequisite for the optimal organization of the transportation process, identifying and reducing non-production costs, pursuing an effective policy in the field of tariff regulation.
The purpose of the work is to highlight modern information technologies that are used in railway transport.
To achieve the goal, the following tasks were set: to consider the types of information technologies, to identify integration problems.
