A modern engineer should have the knowledge, skills and understanding of his specialty. An engineer should read a lot, study, exchange opinions. Therefore, a modern engineer is able to successfully cooperate with people. The engineer must determine how people will use the devices he has developed. He must also anticipate the effect that his device will have. An engineer often has to think about, calculate and compare various facts.

A modern engineer is able to operate, repair and design technological processes and devices. Therefore, he knows how to set tasks and find solutions, predict and invent. Enterprises need professionals who are able to create or modernize a product. An engineer should know the sciences. he can invent. he is able to understand his responsibility.

Neuroengineering. The field of technology in the field of the nervous system (also known as neuroengineering, neurosurgery) is a discipline that uses technical methods to understand, restore, replace or strengthen the work of the nervous system. Engineers in the field of neurosurgery must be exceptionally qualified to solve the problems of designing at the boundary of life of nervous tissue and inanimate structures.

Tissue engineering, like genetic engineering, is one of the main segments of biotechnology - which is significantly intertwined with BMI.

One of the goals of tissue engineering is to create artificial organs (using biological materials) for patients who need organ transplants. Biomedical technologies and engineers are currently investigating methods for creating such organs. The researchers multiplied hard bones and trachea from human stem cells to achieve these goals. Several artificial bladders that were made in laboratories were successfully transplanted to patients. Biologically created organs that use both synthetic and natural biological components modified with the help of biological molecules are also in the process of development. Such as liver devices that use liver cells inside artificial bioreactor designs.

Bioengineering is one of the most modern areas of science that arose at the junction of physico-chemical biology, biophysics, genetic engineering and computer technology.

Bioengineers deal with living systems and apply advanced technologies to solve medical problems. They participate in the creation of devices and equipment, in the development of new procedures based on interdisciplinary knowledge, in research aimed at obtaining new information to solve new problems.

Among the important achievements of bioengineering, we can mention the development of artificial joints, magnetic resonance imaging, pacemakers, arthroscopy, angioplasty, bioengineered skin prostheses, renal dialysis, artificial blood circulation devices.
