The film 127 hours is based on a true story.
He hopes that the girls he met while he was travelling to the park will hear him if he shouts, but he soon realises that nobody can hear him.
Today Aron still goes climbing, but he always tells someone where he is going.
He knows the water won’t last a long time. He will die if he can’t escape from the canyon.
It’s the story of a young man who loves adventure, danger and excitement.
The young man, whose name is Aron Ralston, decides to go climbing by himself in Canyonlands National Park in the USA.
He uses the knife to cut his arm free and climbs out of the canyon.
The rock lands on Aron’s arm. His arm is stuck. He can’t move.
He tries to push the rock away, but it’s too heavy.
Aron has a small bottle of water, no food and a small knife.
By chance a pair of walkers is passing close by and they help him reach a hospital.
He has to make a very difficult decision, his arm or his life.
Aron has spent 127 hours stuck in the canyon. He is weak. His arm is bleeding.
He doesn’t tell anyone where he is going. While he is climbing in a canyon, a large rock falls down.
