Islands
Aland islands – between eastern Sweden and southwestern Finland
Aleutian islands – the Northern Pacific Ocean, part of Alaska
Antilles – the islands forming the greater part of the West Indies in the Caribbean Sea. The Antilles are divided into two major groups: the "Greater Antilles" to the north including the larger islands of Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic), and Puerto Rico; and the smaller "Lesser Antilles" on the southeast — comprising the northerly Leeward Islands, the southeasterly Windward Islands, and the Leeward Antilles just north of Venezuela. The Bahamas, though part of the West Indies, are generally not included among the Antillean islands

Canary islands – an archipelago of the Kingdom of Spain consisting of seven islands of volcanic origin in the Atlantic Ocean. They are located off the north-western coast of Africa
Cape Verde islands – an archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean, off the western coast of Africa
Caroline islands – a large archipelago of widely scattered islands in the western Pacific Ocean, northeast of New Guinea
Channel islands – in the English Channel, off the coast of France
Corfu – a Greek island in the Ionian Sea. It lies off the coast of Albania
Corsica – the fourth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. It is located southwest of Italy, southeast of France, and north of the island of Sardinia
Crete – the largest of the Greek islands and the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean
Cyprus – in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea, south of Turkey
Easter island – a Chilean island in the south eastern Pacific Ocean, at the southeastern tip of the Polynesian triangle
Elba – an island in Tuscany, Italy
Falkland islands – an archipelago in the South Atlantic Ocean, located 300 miles (483 km) from the coast of Argentina
Faroe islands – a group of islands in Northern Europe, between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, about halfway from Iceland to Norway
Fiji islands – an archipelago of about 322 islands in the South Pacific Ocean
Gotland – the second largest island in the Baltic Sea after Zealand
Hawaii – an archipelago situated in the North Pacific Ocean)
Isle of Man – in the Irish Sea
Jan Mayen – a part of the Kingdom of Norway, in the Arctic Ocean, partly covered by glaciers
Java – an island of Indonesia and the site of its capital city, Jakarta
Jersey – off the coast of Normandy, France
Kuril(e) islands – in Russia's Sakhalin Oblast region, are a volcanic island archipelago that stretches approximately 1,300 km (700 miles) northeast from Hokkaidō, Japan, to Kamchatka, Russia, separating the Sea of Okhotsk from the North Pacific Ocean
Madagascar – in the Indian Ocean, off the southeastern coast of Africa
Madeira – in the north Atlantic Ocean, belongs to Portugal
Majorca – the largest island of Spain. It is located in the Mediterranean Sea and part of the Balearic Islands archipelago

Tsushima – an island in Japan, situated in the Tsushima Strait
Wight – off the Southern English coast, to the south of the county of Hampshire, between the Solent and the English Channel
