Today we are going to continue talking about medicine, to review the theme “Present Tenses”. First let’s review grammar rules watching the presentation (учащиеся смотрят презентацию и повторяют правила). Read Grammar Reference on page 15. Ex. 10 p. 15 Now match sentences 1-8 with uses a – h. Example: She comes from France. - a Read the table about state verbs and action verbs. Ex. 11 p. 16 Read the sentences and say which verbs express states and which verbs express actions. Example: I have a dog. – state verb. Ex. 7 p. 13 Read the text and discuss the questions in pairs. Now let’s discuss them all together. Ex. 8 p. 14 Read the British and American parents’ common expressions that teenagers hear from them. Get into groups of four. Discuss what parents mean when they use them. Tell your opinions to the class. Do you hear some of these expressions from your parents?
