Lesson 2-1-A

1) I can see a Penny-farthing bicycle, a Stephenson’s Rocket steam engine, and a Sinclair C5 electric vehicle.

2) The Penny-farthing is a strange looking bicycle with one huge wheel in the front and one small wheel in the back. The Stephenson’s Rocket is an old-style steam engine for pulling a train. The Sinclair C5 is a small electric vehicle.

3) The advantages of a Sinclair C5 is that it is easy to store, drive, and doesn’t pollute the air. The disadvantages are that it would not be safe in a crash, it needs to be charged a lot, and it cannot go very fast.
