Revision Exercises on Future Tenses:

Exercise 1. Translate the following into English.

  1. Том пойдет на вечеринку, когда выполнит домашнюю работу. Она пойдет обедать, когда наступит обеденный перерыв. Как только он приедет в Москву, то сразу же пошлет Вам телеграмму. Они вернутся в город до того, как начнется осень. Если у меня будет свободное время, я зайду в магазин купить продукты. Если погода будет хорошая, они поедут кататься на лыжах в воскресенье. Завтра в это время я буду читать интересную книгу. Я закончу читать эту книгу к концу недели. Когда я сегодня приду домой, мои родители будут ужинать. К семи часам я уже закончу ужинать.

  2. Молодая деревенская девушка направляется в город продавать молоко, неся его на голове. «Когда я приду в город», думает она, «Я продам молоко. Как только я продам молоко, я куплю яиц. У меня будет 12 цыплят. После того, как я продам цыплят, я куплю красивое голубое платье. Когда я надену это платье, я пройдусь в нем по центральной улице города. Как только люди увидят меня, они скажут « Какая красивая девушка!» И если я услышу эти слова, я не скажу ничего, а только встряхну головой. И она встряхивает головой, и молоко выливается на землю.

  3. К концу года студенты прочитают несколько книг английских авторов в оригинале. Они уедут из деревни прежде, чем ты их увидишь. К концу месяца он даст определенный ответ. К 6 часам они будут ехать в поезде в течение 3-х суток. К концу этого семестра мы будем изучать английский уже 2 года. В этом году они будут жить вместе уже 50 лет. Когда ты прибудешь в отель, она будет там жить уже неделю.

  4. Я должен идти, так как мой друг будет ждать меня. Когда она придет домой, её мама будет играть на пианино, отец будет читать газету, а брат будет смотреть любимую программу по телевизору. Бабушка будет пить чай в кухне.

Exercise 3. Open the brackets using Future Simple or Future Continuous.
