9. Study the use of indefinite pronouns some, any, no, every.

Some is mainly used in affirmative sentences, while any – in negative and interrogative sentences.

He asked me some questions.

  1. Not translated into Russian when used before uncountable nouns

Give me some pie, please. –

You didn’t have any dessert.

  1. Not translated into Russian when used

Have you got any mustard?
