1. Велика кількість видатних людей працювала та навчалася в Київському Політехнічному Інституті: Є. Патон, засновник електрозварювання, Сікорський, винахідник гелікоптера, С. Корольов, конструктор першого в світі штучного супутника та космічних кораблів.
