Conclusion

Summing up I would like to draw the following conclusion. In the modern world the importance of religious sphere of human life is obvious. Religion, especially now in Russian culture become more and more important. In becomes more inflectional in political and social sphere. So problems which are connected with the essence of religion are now very actual. Before we analyze the influence of religion on human life, we need to understand what the religion itself is.

To answer this question we need to turn to philosophy of religion in its origin. In that case, philosophy of religion of Kant and Schleiermacher is one of the best examples of analyzing phenomenon of religion itself. They both refuse from dogmatic theology and speculative metaphysics in their systems. Moreover, they try to separate religion from the other spheres of human life, to not to mix it with morality and science.

The research shows how Kant and Schleiermacher understand religion. Which role in human life they give to it. The research also shows deep connection between the Enlightenment and Romanticism.

And there is one more point to be mentioned here. The work will be useful, first of all, for Russian researchers, because the great part of it is devoted to Schleiermacher, who is not well-known in Russian culture.
