Предисловие
«Методические указания … » предназначены для студентов II курса отделения теологии факультета Немецкого языка. Их цель – организовать работу студентов при чтении на английском языке книги Харпер Ли «Убить пересмешника».
Материал книги разделён на шесть частей. Каждый раздел «Методических указаний … » включает рецептивный вокабуляр и задания, направленные на его усвоение и закрепление, а также на развитие рецептивных и продуктивных видов речевой деятельности.
Усвоение словаря и формирование умений и навыков речевой деятельности обеспечиваются разными видами упражнений, например, снабжённым ключами переводом предложений с русского языка на английский, перифразом, комментированием авторских идей, предложенными вопросами и проблемами для обсуждения, составлением диалогов, написанием сочинений (эссе).
Выполнение упражнений и заданий способствует формированию у студентов базовых (лингвистической, прагматической) и на их основе коммуникативных и межкультурных компетенций.
