My Best Friend

I believe that friendship is a rare gift, a bliss that only some people can live through and know. So, I’m lucky to have one. And I’d like to tell you about my best friend.

My friend’s name is Elena. She is twenty. I’ll start with her appearance. She is a pretty young girl. She has fair hair and grey eyes. Her eye-sight is smart and knowing. When I look into her eye I always feel mutual understanding. She is slim and slender. Her gestures are aristocratic and gait is confident. She knows that she is attractive.

My friend’s well-balanced and wise. She never judges person by their appearance as she knows appearances are deceiving. She is positive and never burdens people with her problems. When she feels upset or not in the right mood, we go to a café together where we chat and discuss things that may worry her.

My friend’s hobby is reading worthy books and drawing. In fact she enjoys life to the full and to identify one hobby she has is problematic. She can get interested in absolutely unexpected things. She takes life as a hobby and makes close people happy.

When we spend time together we can do whatever we want. We can find a new recipe and cook some exotic dish, then buy a bottle of good wine spend the whole night gossiping and talking. If we know that there is an exhibition in a museum or an art gallery we go and see it. Sometimes we go on guided tours and just enjoy the trip.

In one word, I’m happy to have a friend. I know that my life would be different without her.
