lights can be seen in neighborhoods all across the world. However, NEIGHBOUR
David Richards, the Guinness World Record winner of 2011, surprised WIN
everybody by displaying half a million lights. In October he began the
process of building this amazing502,165 light display. His neighbors’ BUILD/AMAZE
reaction was difficult to predict. Some were even furious. But REACT/FURY
since the lights go across David's property, fortunately or unfortunately, FORTUNATE2
there is not much they can do. And while David's primary reason
for creating this rather unusual and colourful display has USUAL/ COLOUR
a selfish motive, there is a 'bright' side to it too. Thousands of SELF
people that visited his house helped raise $72,000 USD for

Cat lovers gathered in downtown Oakland for the first Internet Cat Video LOVE
Festival. The colourful party which began at 3.00pm centered around FESTIVE/COLOUR
local bands dressed up as cats, comedians telling cat jokes. However, DRESS/COMEDY
the highlight of the event began after the sun set, when the enthusiastic ENTHUSIASM
crowd settled down to watch a 70- minute movie on the wall of a 10-storied building in the city's historic downtown area. The entire blockbuster BUILD/HISTORY
included clips of the funniest cat videos on the Internet. The event was FUN

If you are not a big fan of tomatoes it will be best to keep away from B2
the charming town of Bunol on the last Wednesday of August.
The normally sleepy Spanish town becomes the stage for the world's NORMAL/WORLD
largest food fight - the La Tomatina. The roots of the festival can LARGE
be traced back to some disobedient youngsters who decided to TRACE/DECIDE
stop the parade they were not allowed to participate in, by attacking
