Alice: It deals with my feelings about graduation and I need a friendly ear.

Mum: And how do you feel?

Alice: A little scared and excited too. The scary part is leaving home and moving to college.

Mum: Oh, leaving home is part of growing up. You are so good at writ­ing. Have you thought of becoming a journalist?

Alice: I am a little uncertain. Making decision is so difficult!

Mum: Indecision is a problem. But why not try, at least? You’ve writ­ten so many wonderful film reviews and editorials. I think it’s your cup of tea.

Alice: I’ve been thinking about it. Do you think I’ll fit in it?

Mum: Sure. Work for it! Alice: Thank you, mum, for hearing me out. I knew it would be great to talk with you. You always keep an open mind and are so understanding. Mum: You are going to be fine, dear.
