Для выполнения контрольной работы №2 необходимо усвоить следующий лексико-грамматический материал:

1. Слова-заместители: one, it, that of.

2. Модальные глаголы и их эквиваленты.

3. Страдательный залог (The Passive Voice) времен группы Indefinite.

4. Особенности страдательного залога в английском языке.

5. Времена группы Continuous в действительном и страдательном залогах.

6. Усилительная конструкция типа it is (was)... that (who).

7. Времена группы Perfect в действительном залоге.

8. Значение слов no, some, the same, for.

9. Многозначность слов.

Вариант 2

I. Замените подчёркнутые модальные глаголы соответствующими, эквивалентами и переведите предложения на русский язык:

1. A man can reach everything he really wants.

II. Переделайте следующие предложения, изменив Active Voice на Passive Voice:
