Dewar’s (Blended Whisky)
Dewar’s was the first company to sell its whisky in bottles as well as casks, thus opening up a new market in the home. Dewar’s White Label is the best selling Scotch whisky in the USA.
It has a slightly smoky aroma and a complex delicate malty flavor with a clean dry finish.

Cutty Sark (Blended Whisky)

J & B (Blended Whisky)

& B refers to Justerini and Brooks. J & B is a smooth, sweet
tasting Whisky with a light fresh character. It is the second best
selling Scotch whisky in the world.
Ballantines (Blended Whisky)
It is mellow and well rounded with a soft, mild peaty flavor.
Deluxe Scotch whiskies
A deluxe whisky will contain more than 45% Pot still malts
It will show an age statement of 12 years or more
It is a blend recognized to be of a superior quality to a standard blend
Johnnie Walker Black
The world’s best selling deluxe blended whisky. It contains around 40 single malts whiskies, including Cardhu, Talisker and Lagavulin. It contains a higher proportion of Islay malts than any other deluxe whisky. It is matured for 12 years in selected oak casks.
Johnnie Walker Blue
An even more premium version than the black, using 60 year-old malts in the blend.
Johnnie Walker Pure Malt
A vatted malt aged for at least 15 years, from a brand more usually associated with premium blended Scotch.
Century (produced by Chivas Brothers)
Century is a superb blend of 100 single malt whiskies, marrying the gentle sweetness of the Highlands with the smoothness of the Lowlands and the peaty seaweed tang of the Island malts. Many of the malts are coming from the mouth balled distilleries, or those that will never produce whisky again.

This is the finest Blended Scotch Whisky.

This deluxe blended Scotch from the Haig family is nicknamed ‘Pinch’ in the US. The wire netting around the bottle was originally to prevent the cork coming out during transit.
It is a 15-year-old medium to full bodied Scotch. This is one of the 10 best available blended scotch whiskies. It has a mellow sweetness, which is balanced by a smoky peaty flavor.
Dewar’s 12
Incredibly smooth flavors are blended with hints of honey, peat, and oak. The finish is long and warm.
Chivas Regal
Classic deluxe blend with a malty sweetness and a trace of peatiness in its flavor.
Seagram’s, the owners of Chivas since 1949, describe the Highlands’ beautiful Strathisla malt whisky distillery as the ‘spiritual home’ of Chivas. Strathisla and other Seagram owned Speyside malts are the main flavor profile of this blend.
