22. Read the text and find the main idea. Children start speaking

Different children begin speaking at different times: someone after year can clearly say the phrase, to ask something (Mama, let me drink), and another child of three years only says a few words (mama, papa, baba, give). But do not worry – every child is unique and time to start a coherent speech is individual for each one.

At the age of about one year, many kids are already trying to pronounce the sounds sensible, but there are children who prefer observe the outside world to talking.
