2. The program.

2.1. Introduction.

Work medicine – the integrated area of the preventive and medical medicine which purpose is management of preservation of health of the person of work, and a subject – a scientific substantiation and practical introduction of means and methods of its preservation and strengthening.

2.2. The purpose elective cycle: Formation of knowledge and abilities on theoretical and practical bases of preparation of students to the further mastering by principles of carrying out preventive and the organizations of medical work at creation of safe working conditions and preservation of health of the working industrial enterprises and agriculture.

2.3. Training problems:

• To form knowledge on bases of medicine of work;

• To form knowledge by principles of an estimation of harmful and dangerous production factors and character of labor process;

• To form knowledge according to a state of health of the working;

• To form knowledge on working out of the preventive and medical actions directed on preservation and strengthening of health of workers;

• To form knowledge on working environment improvement, creation of culture of manufacture.

2.4. The training end results: on a cycle: «work Medicine – a new direction in public health services»

To form knowledge:

• legal bases of a cycle;

• purpose and problems of medicine of work of International Labour Organization recommendations (ILO) and World Health Organization (WHO);

• bases of organization of events on optimization of working conditions working;

• bases of the organization of preventive actions and medical care of workers.

To form abilities:

• to reveal violations of sanitary-and-epidemiologic rules and norms at the industry and agriculture enterprises, to develop actions for their elimination;

• to reveal interrelation between hygienic working conditions and nature of labor process, on the one hand, and emergence professional caused and some the general a disease at the working - with another.

• to estimate severity and intensity of work according to available classification;

• to organize and supervise carrying out preliminary at employment and periodic medical examinations;

• to analyze incidence of the working industrial enterprises and agriculture.

To form communicative skills:

• competently, freely to communicate with employees of the enterprises available, clear language for it;

• to establish confidential relationship;

• to create favorable moral and psychological climate in collective;

• to develop collective nature and mutual respect;

• to defend the point of view during carried-out discussions.

To form legal competences:

• to own legislation bases on public health care of RK and to be able to apply them

• to own bases of the sanitary legislation and to be able to apply them

• to work with standardly – legal, leading, help, scientific documents on methods of the analysis of harmful and dangerous production factors.

To form skills of self-education and development:

• Preparation of presentation, papers, slides, stands etc.

2.5. Discipline prerequisites: chemistry, ecology, physiology.

Discipline postrequisites: public health.

2.6. The discipline summary. Legal bases of medicine of work is the Republic Kazakhstan Constitution, Law РК «About sanitary-and-epidemiologic well-being of population РК», «the Labour code of Republic» and others legislative, and also the standard documents directed on health protection working. The purpose of medicine of work is management of preservation of health of the person of work, and problems – maintenance of optimum conditions and character of work on manufacture.
