THE ANIMATOR
The animator organizes and provides entertainments for tourists in holiday resorts, hotels, buses, touristic centers, museums, etc.
He/she also arranges entertainment programs for passengers on cruise ships.
The animator organizes and conducts parties, shows, sport or art contests, games for children and grown-ups. His main task is to involve all tourists and guests in actions: games and shows.
If the group of tourists is big there are several animators. The chief animator, also called a social director, is the main among them. He communicates a lot with guests and has assistants to conduct shows.
The animator speaks the native language of tourists he works with so he must know one or several foreign languages.
The animator not only speaks well. He is very artistic. He usually dances well, sings well and acts like an actor.
He is an easy-going person and a pretty good mixer.
The animator is the main entertainer of the tourist industry.
