Laboratory work №9 task 2b: Unit 25 “Focus on Grammar”. Listen to a segment of the radio talk “Wimp No More” Copy out patterns with oblique moods, practice pronouncing them and be ready to complete and analyse some of the sentences.
Make sure you understand the following phrases from the text: to own the place; to be some sort of intruder; to set foot in the house: to consider someone’s feelings; high blood pressure; a retirement center; to be worth fretting over. Find modal verbs ‘would rather’, ‘might’, ‘were to’.
