EXERCISES TO BE DONE IN WRITING
Ex. 1. Read the text “Shopping” and answer the following questions:
Have you gone shopping this week? What have you bought? How much money a week do you usually spend on foodstuffs? Where did you go shopping last? What are you going to buy in the shop today? Will you go shopping tomorrow? What are you going to buy there tomorrow?
Ex. 2. Ask permission by making questions. Use the words in brackets as in the example:
Example: I have done my exercises (to go out) — May I go out?
I have done my morning exercises (to have breakfast).
He can't find his dictionary (to take yours). 3. They have already had dinner (to have a smoke). 4. He has already come (to come in). 5. They are waiting for you (to speak to you). 6. She is late (to come in). 7. Our lesson is over (to go to the refectory).
Ex. 3. Answer the questions using the words given in brackets:

Ex. 4. a) Write down the 3 forms of the verbs and make up sentences with them:

b) Make up sentences of your own with these verbs using the Present
Perfect. Ex. 5. Refer the statements to the Present Perfect Tense using the adverb already as in the example:
