Причастие прошедшего времени (Participle II) – это неличная форма глагола.
Все глаголы в английском языке имеют 3 формы глагола. 1-я форма – неопределенная форма глагола (Infinitive), 2-я форма – прошедшее неопределенное время (Past Indefinite), 3-я форма - причастие прошедшего времени (Participle II).
Все «правильные» глаголы образуют 2 и 3 формы по правилу, т.е. прибавляя окончание ~(e)d к основе глагола (to repair - repaired). «Неправильные» глаголы имеют свои особые формы, характерные для каждого глагола отдельно (to take – took - taken)

Participle II в предложении может быть определением или обстоятельством. Participle II в функции определения переводится на русский язык причастием страдательного залога совершенного или несовершенного вида с суффиксами ~нный, ~емый, ~имый, ~тый и может стоять:
