Посібник складається з 20 уроків (Units), присвячених фінансам, банківництву, менеджменту та маркетингу. Кожен урок містить 2 тексти і систему вправ, спрямованих на вивчення термінології, розвиток навичок читання, анотування та реферування фахової літератури, удосконалення навичок ділового спілкування.
На допомогу студенту запропоновано також додаткові матеріали: зразки рефератів та анотацій (Appendix 1), глосарій (Appendix 2), додаткові тексти (Appendix 3).
Посібник призначено для аудиторної роботи студентів 3-го курсу Університету банківської справи НБУ вищого рівня підготовки з англійської мови. Видання може також бути корисним для всіх студентів, які вивчають предмет « Ділова іноземна мова» і мають відповідний рівень підготовки.

Видання є продовженням навчального посібника для аудиторної роботи English for Business Communication (Частина 1). Його мета –увести та активізувати фахову термінологію, розвинути навички читання та перекладу фахової літератури, складання рефератів та анотацій, удосконалити навички ділового та фахового спілкування, підготувати студентів до подальшого вивчення дисципліни «Професійна англійська мова».
Посібник містить 20 уроків (Units), які охоплюють тематику, передбачену програмою з дисципліни «Ділова іноземна мова» для студентів третього року навчання. Це теми, присвячені фінансам – Financial system and Financial institutions, Exchanges, Money markets, Inflation; банківництву – History of Banking, On-line banking, Types of banks, Functions of banks, Globalization in the banking industry, Urainian banking system, National bank of Ukraine, Bank of England, Federal reserve; менеджменту – Management and managers, Management strategies, SWOT analysis, Management styles, Decision-making, Leadership, Work and motivation. Cross cultural management; та маркетингу – Marketing , Market research, Marketing mix, Branding, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, Advertising, Advertizing techniques, Marketing and society.
Кожен урок містить два тексти (А, В) та список активної лексики до опрацювання під час вивчення теми. Система вправ орієнтована на: а) засвоєння нового лексичного матеріалу, особливо термінології, оскільки тематика уроків є максимально наближеною до майбутнього фаху студента, б) розвиток навичок читання; в) розвиток навичок складання рефератів, анотацій; г) удосконалення навичок усного ділового спілкування; д) удосконалення навичок перекладу; е) повторення граматичних структур, характерних для ділового стилю та фахової літератури в цілому. Граматичні вправи часто не є набором окремих речень, а текстами, які подають додаткову інформацію, закріплюють нову термінологію, таким чином виконуючи подвійну функцію.
Крім завдань на переклад окремих граматичних структур, словосполучень, посібник містить вправи на переклад англійською мовою з української, які є своєрідним підсумком до кожної теми. В останній частині посібника кількість завдань на переклад збільшено і відповідно урізноманітнено. У додатках подано зразки та коротку інформацію щодо складання рефератів та анотацій (Appendix 1), глосарій основних термінів (Appendix 2), тексти для самостійного опрацювання, індивідуальної роботи (Appendix 3).
Тематика текстового матеріалу максимально узгоджена з тематикою інших дисциплін навчального плану та термінами їх вивчення, що робить процес вивчення іноземної мови більш вмотивованим і цікавим.
Посібник призначено для студентів третього курсу Університету банківської справи Національного банку України вищого рівня підготовки з англійської мови. . Видання може також бути корисним для всіх студентів, які мають відповідний рівень підготовки і вивчають предмет «Ділова іноземна мова». Кожен урок посібника розрахований на 4 – 6 аудиторних годин.
