ersonal
homes have always been one of the most inevitable requirements from
the very past. A number of building materials consequently have also
been discovered that are feasible for one or more purpose or
environmental condition. The construction companies throughout the
world now days are paying attention to more of what we call ‘green’
or environment-friendly homes. Green homes, also called energy
efficient homes have gained importance due to the increased awareness
of the use of energy and conservation on the environment. This new
push has led to a number of designs and notions to spring up from all
over the globe. Although wood has been used for centuries and
centuries as a home building material and yet hold the same
importance in the classic building styles of homes. There are plenty
of reasons why wood-frames homes are yet the most general home types
build these days. The cost factor comes takes the lead. Wooden
framing is probably one of the most economic ways home buildings
since the material can be easily adjusted and modified as per the
changes in the building plans. On the other hand, homes that are
developed by concrete or in Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) are quite
difficult to alter and thus expensive as well.
