Confidential

Dear Sir,

We should like to know how long Mr. Glover worked for you; whether you were satisfied with his work; the reasons for the termination of his employment with you and, above all, whether he is trustworthy. We have had some trouble in the past with some of our research secrets being sold to rival firms so the letter is naturally, of the most importance to us.

Any other information you can give us about Mr. Glover would be very gratefully received.
