Exercise 37. Read, translate and learn some material about exhibition – fairs.
Exhibition – fairs are the best example of advertising today. Well – known firms used to make deals while visiting such fairs in different countries. A lot of money are spent for organizing and holding such fairs.
As a rule the exhibition has a big total area. Many countries try to participate at the exhibition – fairs. Sometimes the total number of participants approaches to several hundreds. The exhibition has several pavilions, which exhibit different kinds of goods and equipment. And there is the main pavilion where everybody can meet the directory and solve some problems. Many people make themselves familiar with the exhibits models and equipments. As a rule, some businessmen come to the exhibition to find suppliers, the others go there looking for potential clients. It happens that representatives of companies visit exhibition – fairs to find out the competition in the field of their activity.
It is interesting to know that one can see any machine, assembly or installation in operation, know more about their basis technical characteristics and see their operation instructions. One can not only buy any technology or equipment, but it is also possible to buy the license or right to production too.
Nowadays exhibitions are very popular in our country. The biggest exhibitions are held in Kyiv. They are devoted to different fields of our life.
