Successful graduates of Finance Faculty enjoy a variety of attractive jobs in corporate finance, financial planning, commercial and investment banking, or insurance.

One of the key jobs in corporate finance is that of a financial analyst. He/she helps a company to find money to run and grow the business, analyzes possible acquisitions and asset sales, plans its financial future, manages cash, and so on. Any company cannot do without accountants and auditors who prepare and examine financial records. They ensure that financial records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time.

If you choose a career in banking you'll find a wide range of opportunities, starting out as a teller. The basic duties of a bank teller include cashing checks, accepting deposits, processing loan payments, opening customer accounts, withdrawing funds or closing them. Another important banking job is that of a loan officer, He/she assists prospective clients in applying for loans and in determining the type and amount of loan that is most suitable for their needs. A loan officer also assesses the creditworthiness of loan applicants and the loan terms (interest rate, repayment schedule, etc.). One more career is that of an investment banker who raises funds for corporations by issuing of securities. They also advise corporations as for mergers and acquisitions.

All jobs in finance require good analytical skills, computer skills and a broad understanding of finance.
