3.Альтернативные вопросы (Alternative Questions)

Альтернативный вопрос состоит из двух общих вопросов, соединенных союзом “or“. Второй вопрос обычно бывает неполным. На альтернативный вопрос дается полный ответ.

1.Is the region rich in gas or is it rich in oil. – It is rich in oil.

2.Do you like tea or (do you like) coffee? – I like tea.

3.Did you speak to them or did the manager? – The manager did.

4.What is he doing: resting or working? – He is resting.

4.Расчлененные (разъединительные) вопросы (Disjunctive Questions)

Расчлененный вопрос представляет собой сочетание двух элементов: первый- утверждение или отрицание какого-либо положения; второй элемент – вопрос, подвергающий это положение сомнению.

1-ый элемент в утвердительной форме (повествовательное предложение)	2-ой элемент в вопросительно- отрицательной форме	Ответы на вопрос (согласие и несогласие)
1.She is very busy, Она очень занята, 2.Peter knows French, Петр знает французский, 3.You were at home tonight, Ты был дома вечером,	isn’t she? не правда ли? doesn’t he? не так ли? weren’t you? не так ли?	Yes, she is. No, she isn’t. Yes, he does. No, he doesn’t. Yes, I was. No, I wasn’t.

1.Your sister went to Paris, didn’t she? Yes, she did. No, she didn’t. Твоя сестра уехала в Париж, не правда ли?

2. 6.The students must learn new words, mustn’t they? Студенты должны учить новые слова, не так ли? Yes, they must. No, they needn’t.

3.The boy can manage work properly, can’t he? Мальчик справляется с работой как следует, не так ли? Yes, he can. No, he can’t.

4.Our friend has finished his work, hasn’t he? Наш друг закончил работу, не правда ли? Yes, he has. No, he hasn’t.

5.He will be a programmer, won’ he? Он будет программистом, не так ли? Yes, he will. No, he won’t.
