CONVERSATION PRACTICE
Read this dialogue. Make up your own dialogues using the Continuous tenses.
Hi, Peter! What are you doing here, in the park?
Hi, Helen, I’m reading for my exam in physics.
Are you really reading for your exam in the park?
Of course I am! And there is nothing strange about it.
I shouldn’t say so. As for me, the ideal way of preparing for the exams is to work at the library.
That's what you think. Look! The sun is shining brightly, the trees are blossoming and the people are walking around. All this makes you feel happy.
And what about your exam in physics?
Oh, don't worry about it. By the way, I tried to go to the library and work there, but, unfortunately, when I came there, all the seats were occupied, and all the students there were working at their books.
Oh, now I see, why you are here. You are just enjoying yourself.
Don’t jump into hasty conclusions. I am really solving some physical problem here. Looking at the top of this high tree over there, I am trying to solve, with what force the wind is blowing.
And will you be solving some physical problems here tomorrow too?
Oh, no! I’ll be passing my exam in physics at that time.
Then, I wish you good luck at the exam.
Thank you.
