• We can see oceans and continents. There are six continents.

• We can also see seas and rivers, mountains and valleys.

• This is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It is a highly developed industrial country. In the nineteenth century it stood the first in the world and the biggest colonial power. But after World War II it lost some of its prestige as well as its colonies.
