Итак, like и as мы используем для того, чтобы указать, что люди, предметы, действия или события похожи. «Like» и «as» на русский язык переводятся «как», но в какой ситуации мы должны использовать like, и когда as? В чем же их отличие?

Разница между ними в том, что Like – это предлог, поэтому он используется перед существительными или местоимениями.

Например: like a flower, like me Прежде всего запомните: LIKE не всегда означает «любить, нравиться»! Сегодня мы говорим о другом его значении — «похож».

Like имеет следующий перевод: такой же, похожий на что-то.
