3) Future tense:

Verbs and participles, standing at some future tense (as well as in the past tense) may have the perfect or imperfect form, indicating the completeness or incompleteness of the action. Perfect form verbs and participle of future tense (as in the last tense) is formed by adding thereto certain prefixes:

Examples of verbs:

буду рисовать [b`udu] [risov`atь] (I will to draw) - (imperfect form in the future tense)

нарисую [naris`uю] (I'll draw) - (perfect form in the future tense)

Examples of participles:

нарисующий [naris`uю∫ьiй] - (I, you, he) who will draw (fully) - (perfect form in the future tense).

Please note, that participles imperfect form in the future tense can not be formed.

Gerunds perfect form in the future tense look and pronounced as well as gerunds perfect form in the past tense. For example:

поговорив вчера [pogovor`iv] [včer`a] (talking yesterday) - (perfect form in the past tense)

поговорив завтра [pogovor`iv] [z`avtra] (talking tomorrow) - (perfect form in the future tense)

Gerunds imperfective future tense look and pronounced differently than gerunds imperfective past tense. For example:

говорив вчера [govor`iv] [včer`a] (spoke yesterday) - (imperfect form in the past tense)

поговорив завтра [pogovor`iv] [z`avtra] (talking tomorrow) - (imperfect form in the future tense)

It should be noted that verbs, participles and gerunds, present and future time may have roots, derived from different bases:

Examples of verbы:

иду [id`u] (I`m going) - (present tense)

схожу [shoж`u] (I'll go) - (perfect form in the future tense);

Examples of participles:

идущий [id`u∫ьiй] ((I, you, he) who going) - (present tense)

сходивший [shod`iv∫iй] (((I, you, he) who went) - (perfect form in the past tense);

Examples of gerunds:

идя [id`я] (He dreamed of happiness, walking behind her.) - (present tense)

сходив [shod`iv] (He lost all sense of time by going to the movies.) - (perfect form in the past tense).

говоря [govor`я] (They smiled, saying something.) - (present tense)

сказав [skaz`av] (Having said that, he turned away.) - (perfect form in the past tense).
