A. Rewrite the fable changing direct speech into reported. Retell the fable in reported speech.
B. Comment on the moral of the fable describing such a behaviour of the cicada. What do you think the author’s attitude towards the cicada is? Give your interpretation of the cicada’s behaviour? Do it in writing.
C. Write down your own story which proves the moral of the fable.
