1. Training of judges in legal system

• Проблема: The problems of judicial community management are topical issues at the modern stage of the judicial system development and functioning in the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

• Идея проекта:Professional development of judges and other judiciaries is considered to be one of the prioritized areas for enhancing the judicial system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

• Цельпроекта: To improve the work of judges in Kazakhstan

• Задачи проекта:

1. To determine the judicial community position in the solution of important legal problems;

2. To consider actual problems of courts’ work and judges’ status;

3. To take part in the discussion of the problems of the judicial practice and legislation improvement;

Использование в процессе проектной работы компетенций и субкомпетенции:

socio-cultural competence, information-retrieval, analytical and predictive.

• Возможные варианты решения поставленной проблемы:

1. To hold and participate in scientific-practical conferences of judges;

2. To participate in the judges’ arrangements of the professional level improvement;

3. To improve the professional education in the field of human resource training for judicial system and implementation of consistent measures for professional development of judges;

4. To develop international relations with the judicial communities of other countries.

2. Copyright in the system of civil law regulation

Research Problem: Given the present development of international integration processes and the rapid development of information and communication technologies have increased the level of the illegal use of the results of creative activity.

The idea of the project: searching for effective ways andmeans to protect copyrights in the information space.

The aim of the project: Analysis of legal and practical issues related to the legal regulation of copyright and to the disclosure of the essence of civil ways of copyright protection in the global information space.

Project Objectives:

1. to find and learn the relevant materials that clearly define the civil legal ways to protect copyright and the basis of their application;

2. to identify characteristics of general civil legal methods in the field of copyright protection;

3. to analysis the concepts of the information space;

4. to identify the major trends of harmonization of certain aspects of copyright law in the international legal practice, in the era of the information society.

• The usage of historical, comparative legal, formal-legal, empirical sociological, statistical, systematic methods in the process of the project work that allow to study the basic legal tendencies of copyright regulation in the global information space.

• The possible ways of solving the problem:

• to develop practical recommendations for improvement of the Kazakhstan civil legislation in the field of copyright protection;

• to develop proposals for strengthening the copyright protection , author's name and integrity of the work after the death of the author of a literary work in order to improve the Kazakhstan legislation.

• to enhance legal literacy in the field of copyright protection.

• The final product (result) of the project work is the report on the international students’ conference as a way of raising political awareness.
