9 Project title: Outstanding politician. Political image of Barak Obama

The Issue: The phenomenon of “Obamamania”.

The project Idea: To analyze the high popularity of Barak Obama after being elected as a President of the USA.

Project goal: to analyze information about an outstanding political leader.

Aim of project:

1. Giving definition of the term “Obamamania”.

2. Creating the political image of Barak Obama.

3. Make a comparative analysis of the USA before and during the presidency of Barak Obama.

4. Forecast the changes in popularity index of Barak Obama.

Use intercultural communicative (linguistic-cultural, socio-cultural), vocational and landmarks (information retrieval, analytical and predictive, instrumental, creative and modeling, reflexive and developing countries) competence (sub competence) in the course of project work.

Possible solutions to a given issue:

1. Use of international research technics and analytical methods;

2. Find all available information related to the term “Obamamania” and it`s origin;

3. Analyzing main activities of Barak Obama in US foreign policy in order to create his political image.

The Issue: Bashar al-Assad and the “Arabic spring”.

The project Idea: Studying the foreign and domestic policy held by Bashar al-Assad.

Project goal: to analyze information about an outstanding political leader.

Aim of project:

1. Giving definition of the term “Arabic spring” and it`s history.

2. Analyzing the political activities of Bashar al-Assad.

3. Make an event analysis of Bashar al-Assad`s reforms dedicated to increase the development of Syria.

4. Researching the premises of Syrian war and comparing the fighting parties and their supporters.

Use intercultural communicative (linguistic-cultural, socio-cultural), vocational and landmarks (information retrieval, analytical and predictive, instrumental, creative and modeling, reflexive and developing countries) competence (sub competence) in the course of project work.
