T. What are you going to do this week?
J. Well, we don’t really know.
T. What not visit Kew Gardens?
H. Well… we’ve been there. We’ve done a lot of sightseeing since we came here.
J. Yes, we have seen all the usual things like the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament and the British Museum.
T. Have you been to the National Gallery?
H. Oh, yes. We’ve been paying regular visits there for the last fortnight. You know how keen John is on painting. We have heard some good lectures there too.
T. Have you visited Westminster Abbey?
J. Yes, we vent there a week ago. But I have not seen St. Paul’s Cathedral since I was here last time.
H. I have! I have been there two times.
J. But I really ought to think about the business side of my visit now. I have not been to a motor-car factory yet. I expect things have changed over the past five years.
T. I am sure they have. Yes, there have been some very big developments sine you were here last. Tell me – would you like to go and see the factory at Reading?
J. Yes, I would.
T. They have a very big modern factory, and I happen to know the Personnel Manager there.
J. Thank you. I’d be very grateful to you.
