II. Translate into English:

1. Мама вошла в комнату и сказала, что ребенок заснул и спит очень крепко. 2. Я тоже не знал, что вы заняты. 3. 1. Mr. B. buys a parrot and sends it to his wife. When he comes home at noon, he asks his wife, "where is the I sent you"? – "I have roasted it for lunch". – "Roasted! Are you cracked? Why, it was a bird that could speak!" – Why didn't it say anything then"?

2. A priest had ordered from a painter a large painting for his church. After some weeks the painting was ready. It was magnificent. At first the priest was much pleased and praised it very much.
