Местоимение
Личные местоимения и притяжательные местоимения
Личные местоимения (Personal Pronouns):
Личные местоимения имеют два падежа: именительный и объектный.
Личные местоимения третьего лица единственного числа различаются по родам: мужской he, женский she, средний it. Английское местоимение it соответствует в русском языке местоимениям всех трех родов и переводится на русский язык «он», «она», «оно» в зависимости от рода заменяемого им существительного.
Запомните!
В английском языке существительные, обозначающие все неодушевленные предметы, понятия, а также животных, относятся к среднему роду.
Объектный падеж личных местоимений соответствует в русском языке всем косвенным падежам (кроме именительного).
Притяжательные местоимения (Possessive Pronouns):
Выражают принадлежность и отвечают на вопрос whose? – чей?
Притяжательные местоимения имеют две формы.
Первая форма выполняет в предложении функцию определения (простая форма) и поэтому употребляется с определяемым словом (обычно существительным). Артикль перед притяжательными местоимениями не употребляется.
Вторая форма (абсолютная) употребляется самостоятельно, то есть без последующего существительного и выступает в предложении в функции подлежащего, именной части сказуемого или дополнения.
