Task I. Read the text to match the names of the cargo documents with their Russian equivalents:

When a means of conveyance carrying cargo arrives from abroad the cargo as well as the vehicle is subject to customs control.

The cargo documents – the Cargo Entry Declaration, Bills of Parcels, Bills of Lading, Insurance Policies are checked before unloading the vehicle.

The cargo is examined at the Customs zone. The Customs officer is not responsible for any damage during unloading, unpacking or repacking.

But it is the Customs responsibility to ensure security of the cargo at the Customs zone. If the cargo is found in bad or damaged condition or deficient in quantity, the cargo is put apart for examination in the presence of the owner or the carrier of the goods.

No person can remove or alter any seal placed upon any goods and means of conveyance. Such actions are a violation of the Customs regulations and are subject to prosecution.

Task IV. Translate the sentences below into English:

10. В соответствии с ныне действующими таможенными правилами погрузка и выгрузка без разрешения таможенного учреждения рассматривается как нарушение таможенных правил и влечет за собой наложение штрафа.

11. Срыв или замена пломбы считается нарушением таможенных правил.
